Bargain Hunt.

Today, has been good. For a change. :-)

It could have gone badly for many reasons.. one being I went out without a coat OR an umbrella and it had forecast rain, but it didn't rain until I got back home. I went into Brum to spend my birthday money and vouchers. My first AND second stop were two different HMV's since the first had about three CD's and ten DVD's in the whole store. Outside the second HMV, I got stopped by a money grabbing charity man and I ended up giving him two pounds and I was repaid with the compliment " you could be a model" twice. I spent ages in HMV trying to decide what cd's or dvd's to get with my £20 gift card and ended up getting Life is Beautiful and Creature Comforts. Next I went into Marks and Spencer to spend the £10 voucher that the girls at work gave me for my birthday. Incidentally it was even nicer since I've only been there a few weeks yet they wished me happy birthday unlike my best mates of many a years who didn't even bother sending me a text. Anyway... I went into Marks feeling a little lost as I usually do in places like that with all sensible adult people in them... but I totally bagged my bargain of the day. I found a lacy corset in my size for NINE squids as it was in the sale, and I got myself a pair of rather funky stripy pants to make up the full amount. I also managed to bag myself two more tops for work, a wicked cool jumper from the oasis and... yes here's the down side... I ended up spending a liiiittle over my birthday money on some trousers... but they DO look pretty damn ace on me I have to say. I picked up a chicken and stuffing sarnie for the train journey home where I munched away whilst listening to this scary looking guy mumbling about being in prison. Not bad at all for a day's work.

I still have loads of dvd's to watch which I intended to do when I got home, but I ended up doing my usual rounds on the computer and then falling asleep in front of Deal or No Deal. Well, it was a tiring day.
